NOBU

We had the chance to meet the Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa in his gourmet restaurant Matsuhisa inside the Royal Monceau. Chef Nobu is considered one of the greatest Japanese chefs known for his fusion cuisine blending dishes from traditional Japanese cuisine and ingredients from South America. Nobu Matsuhisa partnered with American actor Robert de Niro in the 1990s and opened more than 50 NOBU restaurants and hotels around the world.

Thanks to Jean-Claude Biver - President of LVMH Watch Division, Chairman of Hublot and CEO of TAGHeuer for your help and valuable advice. Mr. Biver spent most of his career in the world of watches, including the creation of the Big Bang (Hublot), an innovative watch that combines ceramics and carbon fiber, and thanks to him, Hublot’s turnover rose in 4 years from 25 million to more than 200 million Swiss francs in 2008.
